Knee Pads MUST Be Worn

According to GHSA the knee pad rule is being called very inconsistently. Please look at the Rule as written . We should mention to the Coach before the game that knee pads must be worn properly. If a player enter a ball game with improper knee pads he will be sent out for it to be corrected. If that player is allowed to play it becomes a liability issue.

Knee pads must be worn during football games as stated in Rule 1-5 Article Section 3-d2 of the NHFS rule book. Knee pads which are unaltered from the manufacturer's original design/production which are worn over the knee and under the pants and shall be at least 1/2 inch thick or 3/8 inch thick if made of shock absorbing material.

If the knee pads are not covering the knee, the player will NOT be allowed to participate in a game until this rule violation is corrected.
